AlAin & Nike partnership




Al Ain Football Club, has announced today its partnership with Nike through their official distributor in the UAE, Sun and Sand Sports as the official kit supplier to Al Ain Football Club, as well as the authorized supplier of training equipment to all subsidiaries of the club, including the first team. Nike, through Sun and Sand Sports will also assist the club with its merchandising strategy for the New Year, which also includes designing the flagship store at the new Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain. The partnership will come into effect with the opening of Hazaa Bin Zayed Stadium, where the new team shirts will be available to fans, prior to the grand opening of the stadium itself.

“We are proud to have Nike sign on as the official kit partner and training equipment partner for Al Ain Football Club. We are moving away from signing on sponsors; we have instead welcomed partners onboard, and Nike is a key partner”. Said a spokesman of the club. “We are very excited to debut the kit in January next year at the newly constructed Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium,” added the spokesperson for Al Ain Club.

Nike is excited about the prospect of providing the most innovative football products for the club and for their future success in tournaments,” the spokesperson added.

Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium, to be completed later this year, aims to offer fans the best match day experience in the region, as well as providing best in class corporate hospitality options. Of the 25,000 seats, the stadium features 3,000 premium seats, a percentage that is the highest amongst stadia across the world.

Al Ain club launched an exceptional celebration at Khalifa bin Zayed Stadium with the participation of Al Ain players of different ages and the coaches of different companies at Al Ain club along with the CEOs, managers and employees.

The celebration comes as a response to the initiative of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, as he has faith in the value of the flag as a symbol for loyalty, belonging, Union, and Unity. The flag day is considered as a national holiday starting from this year and the residents and the nationals of UAE will celebrate this day in accordance of the day H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan was announced official the President of UAE which is on November 3, as an expression of loyalty, pride of having such great wise leaders and what they have achieved so far is clearly seen by the sons of the country in all fields.

The celebration attendees considered raising the flag initiative incarnates the expression “Al Bayt Metwahed” i.e. “the house is united” started by H.H. Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Prince Crown, and the Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE Armed Forces, and support love, loyalty, and belonging to UAE that deserve all loyalty to enhance the national unity and support the national identity.

Ras Al Khaimah/ Sunday June 23, 2013: The emirate of Ras Al Khaimah hosted for the second straight year the national project for the spread and enhancement of football in schools in collaboration with the Ministry of Education.

Omer Al Hammadi, supervisor of the project in Ras Al Khaimah was astonished to notice that football clubs did not make any presence in the festival which was held at the sports hall and before that at the Emirates Stadium Al Zahra Branch.
